I’ve had the privilege of serving as CEO three times over the past decade, leading global technology companies across the U.S., Canada, and France through both rapid growth and complex restructurings.

My experience spans public and private equity-backed firms with over $5 billion in revenue, 20,000+ employees, and operations in more than 60 countries. I currently serve on boards in the FinTech, financial services, and energy sectors.

Having navigated everything from M&A and capital raises to business model transformations and turnarounds, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for what effective leadership requires. That perspective—shaped by both successes and setbacks—led me to formal training at the Hudson Institute, where I earned certification as an executive coach.

Today, I work with organizations in two distinct ways:
Firstly I coach CEOs and senior leaders across sectors including financial services, logistics, capital markets, software, retail, and grocery—helping them scale their impact and lead with clarity in complex environments. I have supported leaders at top-tier companies in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. More details are available on request.

Secondly, I work with private equity and private credit companies supporting due diligence efforts and developing and executing value creation plans. I've worked with some of the world's largest PE and private credit firms including Blackstone, Apollo, BC Partners and Partners Group.

Value of multiple experiences
I value diverse experiences for building insight and leadership. I've held operating roles in the FinTech, banking, consulting, and aerospace sectors, plus board positions in solar energy, payments, mental wellness, financial infrastructure, transportation tech—each adding to my rich experience.

I've coached CEOs, aspiring leaders, and C-suite executives across multiple sectors: Software, Transportation, Capital Markets, Insurance, Logistics, Banking, Education, and Grocery among others. I grow and learn from each of them.
Culturally adept
I grew up in South Africa, currently split my time between the US and Canada, and have had the opportunity to live and work in several countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. I value our cultural differences.
An engineer
My early life dream was to be an astronaut so I completed degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering.
A background in strategy
Earlier in my career I worked for McKinsey and worked in diverse locations like Silicon Valley, Hong Kong, Toronto and Sao Paolo.
A public board director
I sit on the board of a US solar energy technology leader and the board of an Australian financial markets infrastructure leader. These global leaders provide a great lens on the evolving world of public company governance.
A private equity board director
I sit on the board of a private equity owned French payments leader. A great team and a great way to experience the similarities and differences between the public and private markets.
